May 17, 2013 – Mets @ Cubs; Lineups!
The Cubs welcome the Mets to Wrigley for a three game set starting today at 1:20 PM CST on WGN TV. Edwin Jackson will look to build on probably his best start the last time out against the Nats, the Mets will counter with young phenom Matt Harvey who has been pretty much unhittable this season. Here is how both teams will line up, there are scattered thunderstorms in the forecast, hopefully those stay away.
April 24, 2013 – Cubs @ Reds; Lineups – Game Delayed (UPDATE)
Solid match up today as Jeff Samardzija takes on Mat Latos in the rubber game of the series. It’s raining in Cincinnati at the moment and the game will not start as scheduled (11:35 AM), instead everyone involved will meet to see if they should postpone the game or just wait it out around 11:15 AM. Here are the lineups for today should we get underway. (UPDATE) Game scheduled to start at 1 PM CST now, could change, but that’s the plan.

Cubs/Rangers Postponed
At least they finally made it official, the Cubs and Rangers have been postponed tonight, and there is no make up date as of yet. Normally a double-header would be on tap for tomorrow but there is a chance that Chicago will see MORE rain tomorrow than today. So that puts tomorrows game in jeopardy as well, what a lovely Spring we are having, ugh.

April 9, 2013 – Brewers @ Cubs; Preview/Lineups!
Could be a long night as rain is expected to move into the area around game time, or just after. Tomorrow looks even worse so expect the umpires and teams to do everything they can to get this one in. Travis Wood is coming off a brilliant start to his 2013 season and will face a stiff test in the Brewers lineup which gets Jean Segura back tonight. The Cubs will face youngster Wily Peralta who can rush it up there, look for a low scoring affair as it will be cold and damp at Wrigley, that usually doesn’t add up to a lot of runs.

August 26, 2012 – Cubs Lineup / Weather Permitting
The only reason I think the Cubs and Rockies will play today is that the Rockies do not come back to Wrigley this year. That said, things don’t look too promising as rain is moving into the area and it is heavy and slow-moving. We will keep you posted on any delay’s, if they do start here is how the Cubs will line up as they look to take the series from the Rockies.

Cubs Opening Day Weather (UPDATE)
It’s always a concern, and this year is no different. Cubs opening day has been met with a number of weather conditions, snow, rain, a mix, 75 degrees and sunny, you name it and we’ve seen it. This year is not going to be one of those “pleasant” days in the stands for the Cubs fans that are lucky enough to have tickets for opening day.
