Chicago Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 5/14/12)
The Cubs were a couple of pitches away from having a really good weekend, and an excellent week of baseball. Instead they settled for winning one out of three against the Brewers to close out a good week of baseball. The Cubs currently sit in last in the Central, but only trail the Cardinals, who they face next, by six games.

Chicago Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 5/7/12)
This would be the second straight week of what I would call improvement from the ball club. They are playing better games for longer periods of time, we seem to be seeing less blow ups where the game is over before it starts as well. We are also seeing a never give up attitude from the Cubs as they have fought back already a handful of times. Hoping to see even more improvement this week.

Chicago Cubs Stats and Standings (as of 4/30/12)
Don’t look now but the Cubs are starting to play better baseball and it’s starting to show in the standings as the Cubs are no longer alone in last place and now trail the first place Cardinals by six games. The Cubs have gone 5-3 in their last eight games and could be considered on a significant roll if they can take 3 out of 4 from the Phillies tonight. Full standings and stats after the jump.
